Cuttack: July 30: Twin City Police arrested a person for his suspected involvement in serial killings in Cuttack City.
The arrested person has been identified as Narayan Sahu of Odagaon as informed by Twin City Police. He was staying in Cuttack since last few months and had absconded after the murder of three persons. A Police team was formed to nab him.
On verification of CCTV footage, Police could know that the prime suspect was Narayan Sahoo.
It is to be noted, somebody has killed three homeless persons sleeping on the roadside of the Cuttack City in a span of two days.
After discussing with experts, Police suspected that, all the murders seem to have been committed by the same person as because the wounds on the three bodies appear to have been done by similar weapon’.
Body of a middle-aged man was recovered in Ranihat area of Cuttack on 22nd July morning while two more bodies with similar injuries were recovered in Chauliaganj and Mangalabag areas on 23rd July morning. All the deceased were homeless men.
