Bhubaneswar: April 16: India has 12,380 positive Covid-19 cases till now as Data of Health Ministry informed. Out of this, 10477 are active cases getting treatment in different hospitals of the Country and the overall death toll in India reached 414. Meanwhile, 1488 patients have been cured or discharged.
In last 24 hours, 941 fresh Covid-19 cases were reported. Also, data of Health Ministry showed 37 deaths reported in past 24 Hours.
Maharashtra is the worst affected state with 2916 Covid-19 cases, followed by Delhi with 1578 cases, Tamilnadu with 1242 cases, Rajasthan with 1023 cases, Madhya Pradesh with 987 cases, Gujarat with 766 cases, Uttar Pradesh with 735 cases and Telangana with 647 cases.
As said by Indian Council of Medical Research on Wednesday, a total of 2,74,599 samples have been tested for coronavirus detection. These samples were taken from 2,58,730 individuals.
