24 exclusive COVID Hospitals operational in Odisha as of today

Positive Test for COVID-19 virus Now Not Mandatory for Admission to a COVID Health Facility

Bhubaneswar: April 17: In order to fight COVID-19, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had desired to open COVID-19 exclusive Hospitals in the State well in advance and directed to make these Hospitals operational. As per the order of Chief Minister so far 24 exclusive COVID Hospitals have become operational in 21 districts within a short span of time. These Hospitals have 3951 beds and 293 ICU Beds. Another 11 upcoming Hospitals will be operational soon in 11 districts. The upcoming 11 Hospitals will have 1870 beds and 73 ICU Beds.

24 COVID Hospitals operational as of today are Hi-Tech Medical College, Rourkela; Government Polytechnic, Deogarh; Old DHH, Dhenkanal; Government ITI, Subarnapur; Old Jail Campus, Boudh; KISS-KIIT Campus Hostel, Balangir; GNM Centre, Phulbani; SDH, Jeypore; Old DHH, Malkangiri; ESI Hospital, Rayagada; CUTM Hostel, Gajapati; TATA Medical, Ganjam; SUM Hospital, Bhubaneswar; KIMS Medical College, Bhubaneswar; Govt.Medical College, Puri; Govt.Ayurvedic College, Puri; IDH,Puri; Aswini Hospital, Cuttack; Polytechnic Hostel, Chhata; TATA Hospital, Duburi;Salandi Hospital, Bhadrak; Jyoti Hospital, Balasore; KISS Campus, Baripada and TATA Hospital, Joda.
