India records 15,413 cases in a single day; Total tally crosses 4 Lakhs

Bhubaneswar: June 21: India has registered 15,413 COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, taking India’s total to 4,10,461. India witnessed another record of highest number of cases in a single day.

Also, India recorded 306 deaths due to COVID-19 in last 24 hours. With this, 13,254 people have died in India so far due to the infection.

As per the information of Health Ministry, 1,69,451 active cases are there in India, who are under active medical supervision.

On the otherside, 2,27,756 patients have recovered from the disease till date. So, the recovery rate has been going constantly and it has reached 55.49% today.

Maharashtra has 1, 28,205 cases and it is still the worst-affected state. The Sate has reported 3874 new cases and 91 deaths in last 24 hours. As reported, 64,153 people have recovered from the infection in Maharashtra and the active cases in the State have reached 58,068.

The next most-affected State is Tamilnadu with 56,845 cases so far. It has registered 2,396 cases and 38 deaths in last 24 hours. COVID death in the State has reached 704.

Delhi has recorded 56,746 cases so far. In last 24 hours it has recorded 3,630 new cases and 77 deaths. Total number of deaths rose to 2,112.
