Bhubaneswar: September 03: Odisha recorded 3,631 fresh COVID-19 Cases and with this, total cases in Odisha increased to 1,13,411. As per Health & Family Welfare Department, out of 3,631 cases, 2,214 people were in quarantine and rest 1,417 cases are local cases.
Khurda District reported 722 fresh cases in 24 hours, followed by Cuttack (370), Mayurbhanj (365), Bargarh (238), Bhadrak (186), Puri (157), Jajpur (127), Balasore (114), Rayagada (111), Ganjam (107), Nayagarh (100), Sundergarh (95), Koraput (93), Kendrapara (85), Jharsuguda (80), Keonjhar (80), Jagatsinghpur (79), Sambalpur (68), Dhenkanal (56), Malkangiri (55), Sonepur (50), Nuapada (49), Nabarangpur (46), Kandhamal (44), Angul (41), Bolangir (39), Boudh (27), Kalahandi (27), Deogarh (11) and Gajapati (9).
8 persons have died in last 24 hours due to COVID-19 and total death toll in the State reached 522.
Total 84,073 patients recovered from the disease till date. At present, 28,763 active cases are there in the State.
