Bhubaneswar: September 4: Khurda District of Odisha reported highest ever spike of 859 Corona Positive cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack (384), Puri (235), Rayagada (169), Bhadrak (138 ), Mayurbhanj (134), Sundergarh (127), Bargarh (120) and Keonjhar (107) cases.
Also, Ganjam District recorded 97 cases, Nabarangpur (85), Koraput (83), Sambalpur (80), Nayagarh (70), Sonepur (66), Jagatsinghpur (66), Angul (60), Kendrapara (51), Boudh (44), Bolangir (43), Nuapada (40), Jharsuguada (37), Kalahandi (37), Kandhamal (27), Deogarh (23), Jajpur (23), Dhenkanal (18), Gajapati (18), Malkangiri (17) and Balasore (9) cases.
With this, Odisha’s COVID tally increased to 1,16,678. Out of that, 87,351 patients have already recovered from the disease.
In last 24 hours, 9 persons have died due to Coronavirus and total death toll in the State rose to 531.
At present, total 28,743 patients are under treatment in the State.
