Bhubaneswar: October 17: Odisha reports 2,196 new Corona Positive Cases in last two hours. Of this, 1,274 are quarantine cases and rest 922 are local contact cases.
Khurda District reported 259 new cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 175, Sundergarh 140, Mayurbhanj 119, Jajpur 113, Nuapada 108, Angul 107, Balasore 104, Kalahandi 94, Jagatsinghpur 86, Kendrapara 82, Bargarh 80, Puri 77, Bolangir & Jharsuguda 71 each, Sonepur 70, Keonjhar 67, Nabarangpur 50, Malkangiri 38, Sambalpur 37, Kandhamal 34, Dhenkanal 33, Boudh 32, Koraput 29, Nayagarh 20, Bhadrak 16, Rayagada 14, Ganjam 13, Gajapati 7 and State Pool 50.
With this, total cases in Odisha increased to 2,66,345 and out of this, 2,41,385 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
In last 24 hours, 17 patients succumbed to the disease and total death toll rose to 1,121.
At present, 23,786 active cases are there in the State.
