Case Filed Against 38 People In Delhi: Includes Names Of Many Indian Celebs

Mumbai: Thirty eight Bollywood and Tollywood celebs have now been charged in connection with an incident that took place less than two years ago. The 38 celebs who had mourned the death of a Rape victim had revealed her real name on social media. In this matter, a lawyer in Delhi has filed a case against these 38. According to reports, names of many Bollywood and Tollywood superstars has also been mentioned.

In 2019, a female veterinarian was brutally raped and murdered in Hyderabad. Four young men had raped the victim and had allegedly set her on fire while she was alive. Four suspects were later arrested and shot dead in an alleged encounter. After two years of the incident, 38 celebs have now been identified who had mentioned the victims’ real name in public.

Among the 38, a case has been filed against Anupam Kher, Farhan Akhtar, Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Ravi Teja, Rakulpreet Singh, Allu Sirish and other celebrities, who mentioned the real name of the victim. Under Section 228A of the IPC, Delhi’s lawyer, Gaurav Gulati, has lodged a complaint with the Sub-Mandi Police Station alleging that these celebrities are not responsible citizens. Gulati has also filed a petition regarding the same at the Tis Hazari District Court.
