Odisha reported 467 new Covid-19 cases during last 24 hours, pushing State’s total (since the beginning of the Pandemic) to 10,37,523. Of which, 10,24,422 people recovered from the disease including 573 new recoveries reported yesterday.
86 cases are under 18 years of age. Also, of 467 new cases, 272 people were in quarantine and rest 195 are local contact cases.
Khurda District reported 243 cases, which is 52 percent of State’s daily cases registered during 24 hours. Six more districts reported cases in double digits. Th
ose are Cuttack (36), Balasore (16), Sambalpur (14), Rayagada (13), Jagatsinghpur (13) and Mayurbhanj (10).
66,868 tests have been conducted during last 24 hours. Daily Positivity Rate remains at 0.69 per cent.
Active cases stand at 4747.
3 more deaths have been recorded and overall death toll increased to 8301.
