Drugs-on-cruise case Kiran Gosavi arrested
Anti Extortion Cell (AEC) of Pune Police nabbed Kiran P. Gosavi in connection with a cheating case lodged in 2018. He is the prime ‘Panch-Witness’ of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the October 2 cruise party raids.
He absconded since nearly three weeks when his name first surfaced in the cruise party raids row. Also, recently, Kiran P. Gosavi’s selfie with Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan, had gone viral.
As said, he was travelling in Uttar Pradesh and had also expressed his intention to surrender before UP Police. But, it did not happen.
Later he travelled to Pune and had told a news channel that, he will appear before NCB officers who are conducting an internal inquiry against Sameer Wankhede in Mumbai.
Pune Police Sources said, Police nabbed Gosavi from a lodge in Katraj, brought to the police headquarters and later placed under arrest.
He was also summoned by the NCB vigilance team from New Delhi, camping in Mumbai, to record his statements in the probe into the alleged corruption charges against Mumbai Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede.
