T20 Final: Will get a New T20 World Champion Today
November 14
T20 World Cup has reached its Climax. Australia will face New Zealand in the final on today (Sunday). Both the teams have never won the world title in this format. So this time it is certain to get a new world champion in T20.

New Zealand has emerged as the most successful team in ICC tournaments. Since 2015, this team will play the fifth final match. In the 2019 ODI World Cup also, the Kiwi team reached the final, but then they were denied the trophy on the basis of low boundaries after the match and Super Over were tied.

James Neesham, who is the hero of New Zealand’s victory in the semi-finals of this T20 World Cup, had also played the final of the ODI World Cup.

Then he was so disappointed with the defeat that, he started thinking that it would have been better if he had not become a cricketer. He was also thinking of retiring from cricket. Now both the New Zealand team and Neesham have a chance to overcome that disappointment.

So far, Toss has played a very important role in this T20 World Cup. Barring Sharjah, out of 14 matches played in the Super 12s, only once has the team batting first been able to defend their score.

So, the team winning the toss can choose to field first. But, final match is a high-pressure match. So some Cricket Pandits say, batting first is beneficial in such encounters.

If we shall discuss about the strength and weakness of both the teams, Australia is strong in batting and New Zealand in bowling. In T20 cricket, the team having strength in batting usually has the advantage, but this tournament has proved to be low-scoring and good bowling has been more important for victory.
