Last Lunar Eclipse of the Year on 19th Nov
The last lunar-eclipse of the year 2021 will be seen in many parts of the country on Friday, November 19. The longest lunar-eclipse will be visible in many countries of the world including India. This will be a partial lunar eclipse and the longest lunar eclipse since the 15th century.
According to the date of the Hindu calendar, the partial lunar-eclipse will start from 12.48 pm on the Shukla Paksha (November 19) of Kartik Purnima and will last till 4:17 pm. The maximum partial lunar eclipse will be visible at 2.34 pm as 97 per cent of the Moon will be covered by Earth’s shadow.
This eclipse will be visible for some time in Imphal and adjoining areas of Manipur in India. The eclipse will also be visible in the areas of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh.
It will also be visible from UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha for a brief period.
The partial Lunar-eclipse will be visible from North America, South America, Eastern Asia, Australia and the Pacific Region.
