Odisha To Appoint 11,403 Teachers
Besides transforming Schools with better facilities and environment under 5-T School Transformation Programme, Odisha Government has been taking steps to recruit teachers.
As directed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the process of filling 11,403 teaching posts has started.
Earlier, 6131 teachers were given appointment in a day. This year, in the first phase, advertisement for 4619 Hindi, Sanskrit and sports teachers were published on August 13.
Another advertisement was released on August 28 for filling up 6720 posts of TGT, Arts and Telugu teachers.
The examination and recruitment rules have been amended to ensure that, the maximum number of candidates shall be available to participate in the recruitment process.
In addition, 3462 teaching posts have been approved in view of the growing number of students. So as directed by Chief Minister, 11,403 teachers, including vacancies and newly sanctioned posts, will be filled soon. The recruitment process is expected to be completed by April 2022.
