Odisha’s Daily Covid Cases Dip Further; 5 Deaths In A Day
Odisha reported 7,291 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking State’s tally of Covid Cases (since the beginning of pandemic) to 12,11,951. Also, as informed by Health & Family Welfare Department, 10,841 patients recovered from the disease yesterday and with this, total recoveries reached 11,21,608.
Of 7,291 new cases, 954 cases are under 18 years of age. Also ,as said by Health Department, 4226 quarantine cases were found to be positive and rest 3065 are local contact cases.

State has registered 5 deaths in 24 hours and with this total death toll increased to 8525.
61,969 tests have been conducted and out of that, 7,291 cases were found to be positive. Daily Positive Rate remains at 11.76 per cent.
At present, 81,765 active cases are there in the state.
Khurda District reported highest daily cases (1705), followed by Sundergarh (646), Cuttack (561), Balasore (343), Rayagada (295), Sonepur (282), Mayurbhanj (229), Balangir (218), Jajpur (203) and 365 cases have been detected from the State Pool.
