Suryakumar Yadav, the No. 1 ranked hitter in the world and one of India’s best batsmen had an even better performance in the most recent MRF Tyres ICC Men’s T20I Batting Rankings.
Yadav, who appeared unsatisfied with his 239 runs at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, concluded with a total of 124 runs while being removed just once during India’s recent T20I series in New Zealand.
Yadav scored an outstanding undefeated 111 runs in the second game of the series in Mount Maunganui, and following his performance at Bay Oval, the 32-year-old reached a rating of 895 points, a career-high.
An innings of just 13 in the third and final game of the series in Napier dropped Yadav’s rating to 890 points, but the dynamic right-hander still holds a career-best 54-point break over his nearest challenger at the top of the T20I batter rankings.
Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan (836 rating points) maintains his place at No.2 on the latest T20I rankings for batters. At the same time, New Zealand’s Devon Conway (788) jumps in front of Babar Azam (778) and into third place following his team-high 84 runs during the series against India.
