Bhubaneswar: May 12: On Friday, the Speaker of the Odisha Assembly and two ministers all quit at the same time. This could lead to a reshuffle in the Odisha Cabinet soon.
Bikram Keshari Arukha quit his position as Speaker and said it was for personal reasons.
Soon after that, two ministers gave notice that they were leaving. The Minister of School and Mass Education, Samir Ranjan Dash, quit his job. Also, Srikant Sahu, the minister of labour, gave his notice on Friday.
Arukha told reporters about his decision by saying, “I’ve given my resignation to the Deputy Speaker.
Sources say that this could be a sign that the Odisha Cabinet will probably be reshuffled.
