Seats increased at NISER, Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Jan 8: At least 30 seats were increased at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) here.

The intake capacity was increased from 100 to 130 keeping in view the increasing number of applications every year. Candidates will be admitted to 130 seats at NISER, Bhubaneswar.

Registration for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) for admission into NISER, Bhubaneswar, and University of Mumbai has commenced on January 4 and will continue till March 4.

NEST will be held on May 28 this year in 59 cities, including new centres proposed at Koraput, Trichy, Dhanbad, Durgapur, Gwalior, Vijaywada, Imphal and Coimbatore.

The entrance test will be held for admission to the five-year integrated MSc programme in basic sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
