Patna: An FIR was filed on Tuesday against senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi for allegedly promising to give laptops and TVs to voters at a rally.
The FIR was lodged with Bhabua police station against Modi for alluring voters.
During an election meeting yesterday, Modi had allegedly promised the voters to provide them laptops, TVs, dhotis, sarees if the party comes to power in the Assembly polls in Bihar.
The case was registered on the basis of video footage of the rally.
