Dense Fog Grips Twin City

Bhubaneswar: The weather has changed. Now less cold is felt while dense fog has been witnessed in twin cities. Reportedly, dense fog has also been witnessed in various parts of the state.

Due to dense fog, vehicular movement in twin cities has been affected. People are facing problems in movement. Visibility has decreased up to a distance of 50 meters only in the early morning hours.

Amid dense fog condition at different places of the State, the Meteorological Center has issued warning to 6 districts for dense fog. Yellow warning has been issued to Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore, Khordha and Cuttack districts. In view of the fog alert, the SRC has directed all these district collectors to remain alert.

It has been said that fog condition will prevail until the 25th January. After the cold subsides, the temperature will increase by 2 to 4 degrees. The regional meteorological center has predicted that the weather will remain mainly dry in coming 48 hours.
