Bhubaneswar: Noted Odia Jatra artiste Rani Panda, who is also famous for her social works and help to the poor and needy people, is critical and is undergoing medication. According to Rani Panda, doctor has advised her to undergo an operation. “I was never as critical as I am now. It is being five days that I am suffering from some infections,” she said.
When asked who turned out to help her, she said, “None came to meet me. It is only the blessings of God and the love and prayers of the poor people of Odisha were with me. Of course noted Odia film actress Pushpa Panda was with me since day one. She even visited me. Popu bhai now looks after me. He takes me to the hospital and supports in different medical examinations.”
“It is right that you will see the real face of the people when you are going through bad time or situation. However, I request all to pray for me so that I will completely get well soon and continue to do my social work and entertain people,” she broke down.
Speaking about Rani Panda’s health condition, Jatra artiste Popu said, “She has thyroid, eosinophilia and developed a complicated infection due to sleeplessness and not having proper food. She also had some breathing issues. As per doctor’s advice, her Ultrasound and blood tests have been done at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. Her Endoscopy and CT Scanning will be done tomorrow.”
“Rani Panda even has problem with her ears. Even one of her eardrums also has been damaged. Her mental health condition was also not fine,” he added. According to sources, Rani Panda was initially rushed to the Capital Hospital for treatment and later, she was shifted to a private hospital as her condition deteriorated. However, she got discharged from the hospital after five days of treatment. But she seems to be very weak and needs days to recover.
Meanwhile, Rani Panda’s fans, followers and well-wishers wished for her speedy recovery.
