Bhubaneswar, Sept 26: Today morning, a person who was standing near a traffic post at Xavier Chhak in the capital city, was hit by a private university bus and died later as he sustained critical injuries.
Reportedly, the private bus was on its way to the university carrying the varsity staff when it hit the person. The driver and the varsity staff fled from the spot after the accident. The person, whose identity is yet to be established, was rushed to a private hospital by the locals. However, he succumbed to his injuries in the hospital while undergoing treatment.
After getting the information, the police reached the spot and began the investigation.
