Santosh Patra, the live-in partner of Odia Television Actress Rashmirekha died by suicide last night. After Rashmirekha’s death on June 18, Santosh was questioned by the Twin City Commissionerate Police and further he was arrested. Recently, he came out of jail on bail. Santosh was found hanging at his house in Basanti Colony, Rourkela.
Getting information from the neighbors, Udit Nagar Police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem.
The exact reason behind Santosh’s suicide is yet to be ascertained. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
As reported, Santosh and Rashmirekha were in a live-in relationship and later got married. They were staying at a rented house in the Gadasahi area under Nayapalli police limits in Bhubaneswar.
