Delhi: August 16: The Air India Flight AI 244 from Kabul landed in Delhi on Sunday evening. 129 passengers were there in the Flight.
As sources said, Taliban reached Kabul and reportedly they have taken over the city.
Bur, the Air India Flight had taken off at 6.06 p.m. on Sunday from the airport and landed in Delhi around 7.45pm.
The passengers also include diplomats and security officials posted in the Indian Embassy in Kabul.
As Afghanistan situation is deteriorating due to intense fighting between Afghan security forces and the Taliban, Indian nationals have been leaving the country.
Media reports said, President Ashraf Ghani along with National Security Adviser Hamdullah Muhib and head of the administrative office of President Fazel Mahmood Fazli left Afghanistan for Tajikistan.
Head of High Council for National Reconciliation Abdullah Abdullah in a video clip said that Ghani left Afghanistan.
After US troops pulled out from Afghanistan, Taliban has been bringing one by one province under its control.
Officials said, there is no plan to cancel the Delhi-Kabul-Delhi Flight on Monday. Airline is monitoring the situation closely and will decide accordingly.
