AP government grants NOC to Centurion University, Odisha

Bhubaneswar, March 14 – Centurion University, Odisha became the first state private university to get an  NOC from Andhra Pradesh government for setting up of a university campus in Andhra Pradesh  in Vijayanagaram district.

The path-breaking education model of “hands-on knowledge”, “experience-based learning” and  “practice-oriented teaching” has played a key role in linking education to employability,  employment and entrepreneurship. This has helped the university to carve a niche for itself  within such a short span of existence.

Centurion group is a ten year old GROUP, with its first College located in Parlakhemundi,  Gajpati District of Odisha. . It is promoted by two eminent edupreneurs, Dr Mukti Mishra and  Prof D N Rao. The University has earned it’s name for integrating skills into higher education  and has more than fifteen industry partnerships in the area of skill development. The group has  made committed efforts to bring about a difference to this area; both academically and socio- economically. As on date, Centurion University has five campuses at Paralakhemundi, Bhubaneswar,  Bolangir, Rayagada, and Chatrapur offering B. Tech., MBA, +2 Science, ITI, Primary and  Secondary Education in addition to Skill and Vocational Training and Social Entrepreneurship  initiatives.

The university trains over 15000 students a year in skill development and is considered as India’s first skill university.
