Cuttack: November 19: A major robbery took place at a finance company in Cuttack on Thursday. As reported, four gunmen stormed into the strong room of the Finance Company at Nayasarak, Cuttack and looted crores of rupees and also large quantities of gold jewelry.
The incident took place at around 10.30 am soon after the Company opened its office. The dacoits entered into the office and started loot after taking the security guard and other staffs at gunpoint in the busy market place.
Lalbagh police arrived at the scene and launched an investigation, while CCTV footage was seized. It is learned that a special team will be set up by the Commissionerate of Police to locate the culprits.
