Tokyo/Bhubaneswar: August 7: India’s medal tally improved further in Tokyo Olympics. Bajrang Punia won the bronze medal in men’s freestyle 65kg, beating Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan 8-0 on points.
Earlier, Bajrang got defeated by Haji Aliyev of Azerbaijan in the semifinals on Friday.
With this, India’s medal tally in Tokyo Olympics rose to 6 with 2 Silvers and 4 Bronze. In 2012 also, India had won two silver and four bronze.
