Karnataka Police is investigating the accident case which claimed 7 lives including the son of Hosur DMK MLA. Sources said, Police have got enough proof of victims going on a joy ride.
The accident happened on Tuesday in-between 1.30 am to 2 am as stated and it took 7 lives including three young women traveling in the vehicle.
The Audugodi police investigating the case have got some CCTV footage, which shows that, the victims were making purchase of alcohol.
As investigated by Police, all the victims had a party before the joy ride. Also, their vehicle was moving on the road in a zigzag manner.
Police sources also said that at many junctions police could not stop the vehicle as it was over speeding.
The young persons who died on the accident are: Karuna Sagar P (25), son of DMK MLA Prakash Y; Bindu C (28), Dhanusha M (29), Akshay Goel (25), Rohit Ladwa (23),Ishita Biswas, Uthsav Kumar (25),
The vehicle struck three concrete footpath poles & smashed all and finally hit a building housing a private bank on 80 ft wide road, Koramangala.
