Bhubaneswar: August 19: Bhubaneswar registered highest single-day spike of 370 COVID-19 cases. With this, total cases in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation area increased to 6077. Out of 370 new cases registered today, 204 are Quarantine Cases and 166 are Local Contact Cases.
According to BMC Tweet, 150 patients have recovered from the disease today. Total number of cases recovered so far reached 3840.
Till date, 30 patients from Bhubaneswar succumbed to the disease.
At present, 2201 cases are active.
