Bhubaneswar: August 7: Bhubaneswar reported 101 new COCID-19 cases in last 24 hours. As per the tweet of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, 52 out of 101 people were in Quarantine and rest 49 are Local Contact Cases. With this, total cases in BMC area increased to 3,573.
Also, it is informed, 106 patients from BMC area have recovered from the disease today and the total recovered cases in Bhubaneswar now stood at 2,257. So far, 18 persons have died due to COVID-19. As of now, 1,296 cases are active.
Also, COVID Positive cases are in rising trend in Cuttack Municipal Corporation area. As per the Tweet of CMC, out of the 124 new positive cases reported today in Cuttack District, 81 Positive cases belong to Cuttack City. Of this, 38 cases detected from containment zone only. From rest, 5 persons were in Institutional Quarantine, 26 in Home Quarantine and 12 are Local Contact Cases.
Total cases in CMC area increased to 1,470 and out of that, 693 patients have recovered from the disease. Now, 767 cases are active.
