Ganjam: April 03: BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik began his Poll Campaign from Ganjam today and urged the people to vote for BJD in large number. Addressing the people, he criticised BJP for neglecting Odisha.
He said, “I have been with you, I am with you and always be with you’. Also, he spoke about various schemes introduced by BJD led Government. He further added, ‘We have ensured that all beneficiaries of the various schemes are covered’.
Attacking BJP, he said, the BJP has done injustice by excluding more than 20 lakh farmers from the Central schemes.
Describing opposition leaders as opportunists, BJD Supremo said, Opposition leaders have never shown up in the state during critical times of the state and appear only during elections.
Naveen cited a series of unfulfilled promises and charged BJP with multiple questions, what happened to the special category status for Odisha? What happened to the 10 crore jobs in five years? Why was the scholarship for scheduled caste students stopped?
