Bhubaneswar, Apr 15: Few hours before the big grand premiere of the National Executive Meet, a wide blow comes to BJP when posters of its chief party president, Amit Shah who had arrived here yesterday, have been blackened by some unknown miscreants. The posters were put up along the Power House chowk here. The police are yet to nab the culprits, but the saffron party leaders suspect involvement of rival party leaders.
Senior BJP leader, Suresh Pujari claimed this act to be disrespectful to the culture and tradition of the state. He indirectly has blamed BJD for doing such ‘mischievous activity’ as the leaders of the ruling party are fearing the position of the saffron party in Odisha. During the Panchayat polls as well, BJD had created a havoc.
On the other hand, BJD Spokesperson Dibya Shankar Mishra refuted the allegations. involvement of BJD behind the incident.
This ‘mischievous activity’ just before the mega event has definitely risen the level of politics in state.
