BJP MLA may face disciplinary action for horse assault


New Delhi, March 16: BJP’s Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi accused of mercilessly beating a horse may face disciplinary action with the party saying such cruelty was “unacceptable” and it has taken serious note of the incident.

“Party is aware of the incident. Party has taken a serious note of the incident. I am sure the party will take a call on this,” Union minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy told reporters. Such a behaviour is unacceptable, he said.

Meanwhile, the police horse has been given medical assistance in Dehradun. Mussoorie SSP Sadanand Date said, “Operation has been successful. His multiple fractures were fixed using external fixation.
