Mumbai, 10th August: Bollywood actor Sitaram Panchal, best known for his roles in hit movies like Jolly LLB 2, Paan Singh Tomar and several others, passed away today morning after fighting the battle against lung and kidney cancer for past three years.
Earlier in the morning, the actor survived by wife Uma and a son, complained of breathlessness and was rushed to the hospital. However, he passed away at the hospital at around 7.45 am. The news of his death was announced by actor-comedian Navin Prabhakar as he paid his condolences through a Facebook post.
As per reports, Sitaram was bed-ridden for the last 10 months and was also facing financial crisis. He had also sought help from his fans and well wishers last month through social media posts. Renowned bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, producer Ashwini Chaudhary and many other Bollywood and television actors had extended their help towards the actor and had also asked people to come forward to help him.
Sitaram has also worked in Bandit Queen, Slumdog Millionnaire, Peepli Live and The Legend of Bhagat Singh.
