An Odia Girl was brutally murdered by her boyfriend. This took place in Surat, Gujarat. Just one month after the murder of Shraddha Walker in Mehrauli, Delhi, another murder has been reported like that. Luni Das, a resident of Bhubaneswar, was stabbed 49 times to death by her lover Jagannath Gouda. On the 15th of December, her body was discovered in a pool of blood near Surat’s Anjani Industrial Estate.
After reviewing the CCTV footage and call logs, the Surat City Crime Branch could know the name of the suspect.
According to accounts, Luni was in a three-year relationship with the accused. When she insisted on marrying, the defendant planned a plot to eliminate her.
According to the plot, the suspect arrived in Bhubaneswar two weeks ago and transported the victim to Surat on the Puri-Ahmedabad Express. Then, he brought her to a remote location and murdered her with a knife. Infuriated by the girl’s demand for a wedding, the accused stabbed her 49 times with a knife.
Surat Police have arrested the suspect and are doing further investigation.
