Paradip, March 14: With a view to acknowledge the role of drivers and helpers in the product transportation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) today organised “Bandhan”2016 for the first time here.
This programme is held by all organisations on March 13 across the country.
BPCL officials,Tanker owners, driver and helpers participated in the programme.
A welcome ceremony was held, in which welcome kits consisting of T-shirt, Cap and a letter from the location in-charge were given to the participants.
Wrist bands were tied in a symbolic gesture.
The messages from ED Retail and GM Operations were read out.
The location in-charges and the guests exhorted the participants to maintain a strong relationship and co-ordinations among the HPCL organisation,Tank lorrry owners, driver and helpers.
Events such as Tug of war, Lemon race, Sack race, song competition, cricket match were held and the winners awarded later at a function.
This programme was organised by BPCL paradip installation and coordinated by Tank lorry owners.
