Malkangiri, Nov 11: Last night, a brother and a sister got drowned in a pond at Sankorapali village under Mathili block in Malkangiri. The name of the sister was Ranjita Kope (7) and her younger brother was identified as Akshaya.
It’s stated that the brother-sister duo went out of their house but did not return for quite a long span of time and so the their family members started looking for them. Later it was found out that they had got drowned and the bodies were recovered from the pond by the family members.
