Bhubaneswar, May 2: The re-formation of the Biju Yuva Janata Dal brought in immense displeasure among the members and hence last night here, the BYJD workers sat on dharna ahead of the BJD headquarters. A BYJD member, Shakti Prasad Rath alleged that this re-formation decision has been taken by some of the members without keeping the BJD head and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik into the loop for the final call. The workers gave out warnings that if the decision is not changed, the agitation will continue.
Notably, the BJD re-shuffled four advisers of the BYJD named MLA Byomakesh Ray, Anubhav Patnaik, Manas Madkami, and Pranab Balabantray with Ranjit Mohapatra, Sanjay Babu, Amaresh Jena and Kunja Bihari Das. Along with, 33 organization districts have been categorized into six zones, each zone being led by a chief.
