Chandaka to get Open Safari and Bamboo Houses soon

Bhubaneswar, Dec 13:  Tourist visiting Chandaka-Dampara Wildlife Sanctuary henceforth will get to experience eco-tourism with staying in bamboo houses inside the dense forest.

To experience and enjoy the eco-tourism along with the beauty of nature amidst 1000s of acres of dense forestry, the Sanctuary Admin has facilitated online ticketing along with battery-run vehicles for the tourists.

For picnic lovers, about 30 places have been identified along with feast facilities and bamboo houses to rest for the night.

While the entry fee for Indian citizen is fixed at Rs 40, foreigners can avail the experience at a cost of Rs 1000 per head.

Chandaka famous for its elephant sanctuary is also the house to many endangered animals and birds from worldwide in the winter season. Soon the Chandaka Open Safari is going to be launched along with herbal therapy and naturopathy, said sources.
