Puri, Dec 1: A sad incident happened early today morning when a four-year-old child was bit and torn out completely by 4 street dogs.
Identified as Satyabrata Raut, the kid who stayed at the Jagannath Lane under the kumbharpada PS, was playing in front of his home today morning when 4 dogs attacked him. People near by ran to him with sticks after hearing him shout, but before they reach the continuous attack of the dogs layed him down, and they ran away. After the information spread, there has been a lot of agitation in the area.
After seeing the lacerated body of the child, a tense situation has grew over Puri. This is all because of the irresponsibility of authorities that today the street dog population in the town has risen and they have become the killers and many intellectuals have asked the authorities to catch the killer dogs soon, said sources.
