Surat, Aug 23: Yesterday the deceived Odia investors staged demonstrations at the Pandesara Police Station in Surat thus ordering for a CBI enquiry into the Oscar Chit Fund Scam.
This was informed by President of Parbasi Odia Chit Fund Jamakari Mahasangh, Srikant Padhi to a private media channel. They also said that the Mahasangh has submitted its application to Gujarat Chief Minister, Vijay Rupani through the Pandesara police, Surat Collector and Police Commissioner.
To this the police informed that cases under section 406 and 420 of the IPC have been registered against the Oscar Management Services Ltd in Udhna police station and investigation is on.
