Sambalpur: June 7: Tuesday Sambalpur will witness a mass protest to be held by several investors who were deceived by the various chit fund companies in which they had invested their hard earned money. Investors from Bargarh, Balangir, Sundargarh and Deogarh districts intend to join the protest rally scheduled to be in Nari Seva Sadan, Sambalpur.
Joint Convener of the defraud depositor’s association, Anuradha Subudhi, confirmed that the rally would start at 10 a.m. sharp and will continue till 3 p.m. The members already lined up to attend the protest would be the leaders of the opposition parties along with their legal advisor Soumya Ranjan Patnaik and senior journalist Rabi Das.
As informed by Anuradha Subuhi the leaders of the opponent parti would include Bhakta Das of the Congress, Suresh Pujari and Prithiraj Harichandan from BJP, and Prafulla Samantray belonging to the Lokasakti Abhiyan. Subudhi reasoned out that this rally would be a start up warning for those fraudsters so that something like this is not repeated again. Reports inform that post Sambalpur rally similar conventions would be held in Nayagarh and Balasore on June 10 and 17 respectively
