IAF officials review preparation process of upcoming Air Show

Cuttack, Dec 21: Before the ‘Air Show’ going to be held on Dec 23 by the Indian Air Force (IAF), the preparation process of the same was reviewed by Air Force officials on Tuesday. The officials decided on the safe direction to conduct the show and also the bird activities of the zone. The officials have requested to receive assistance from the State Government. Arrangements have been made for Air Force officials to keep their goods. Arrangement for smooth run of traffic have also been made. For parking of vehicle, Sunshine field and Muncipal High School ground have been made vacant, informed Nirmal Chandra Mishra, Cuttack Collector. The state government has announced that all schools and colleges in Cuttack would be shut keeping in mind the air show event.

The 40-minute air show is going to be held at the Khannagar Park to commemorate the birth centenary of legendry leader late Biju Patnaik who was one of the best pilots of his time. The daredevil stunts would be performed by 100 pilots, 10 IAF officials of Surya Kiran Aerobatics, Saranga Aerobatics and Akash Ganga Aerobatics teams of IAF. For the stunts 10 fighter aircraft and 6 helicopter would be used.
