Mumbai, Dec 3: Chitra Ramkrishna, CEO of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) resigned on Friday. The NSE on the same, appointed J. Ravichandran as the new CEO, who will hold the table after Chitra.
The board yesterday in a meet accepted Chitra’s resignation. Ramkrishna resigned all due to some personal reasons, said sources and she also desired to step down with immediate effect.
The board had set up a committee to select the new MD and CEO. And later Ravichandran, the group president was appointed as the new CEO with immediate effect. Ravichandran has been associated with NSA since long and has got the experience of the market and a full understanding of functioning of the org, said sources.
