Bhubaneswar: June 09: CHSE Odisha on Saturday announced the results of plus II arts and commerce streams. The overall pass percentage has been recorded at 68.79 in Arts stream, 74.91 in Commerce stream and 52.61 in Vocational stream. Girls have outshined boys in all the three streams. Puri district recorded a highest pass percentage of 79.87 % while Nabarangpur district recorded a lowest pass percentage of 47.58 % in arts, informed School & Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra at Council of Higher Secondary Education’ office here today.
In Arts Stream, 1, 58,378 students cleared the Examination out of 2, 30,206 students appeared. Out of which, 19,993 passed in First Division, 26,076 in second division and 1,12,143 in 3rd division. 60.88% boys cleared the examination whereas 75.39% girls could clear the examination.
In Commerce stream, 26,984 students appeared the examination and out of them 20,216 could clear. Out of this, 4,006 passed in first division, 3734 in second division and 12,470 in third division. 73.11% boys cleared the examination whereas 78.48% Girls passed the examination.
In Vocational Stream, 7,966 students appeared and 4,191 passed the examination. Out of which, 299 passed in First Division, 1,692 in second division and 2,051 in third division. 48.71% of boys could clear the examination whereas 57.11% of girls cleared the examination.
