Cine Actor Pintu Nanda Shifted To Hyderabad For Further Treatment

On Saturday, Ollywood actor Pintu Nanda, who was being treated at a private hospital in New Delhi after being diagnosed with liver cirrhosis, was transferred to Hyderabad for further treatment.

According to family members, he was transferred to Hyderabad’s Yasoda Hospital due to a lack of donors at New Delhi’s Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), where he was receiving treatment.

Pintu Nanda, an actor, was being treated in Bhubaneswar for a liver ailment. As his condition worsened, doctors advised him to have a transplant. He was transported to Delhi’s Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) Hospital.

Only family members are permitted to donate their livers at ILBS Hospital, according to their policies. The blood group of the family member who agreed to donate their liver to Pintu, on the other hand, did not match.

Pintu Nand is now in good health. “We started looking for a donor. The transplant will take place as soon as the donor is found, according to Odisha Cine Artist secretary Sritam Das.
