CUTTACK, OCT 25: Giving strong reply to Odisha’s first-innings total of 281, Railways reached 161 for three at stumps on the second day of their four-day Plate Group B match of the Col C K Nayudu Trophy (U-23) Tournament at Diesel Mechanical Works Cricket Ground in Patiala today.
Earlier resuming their first innings at the overnight score of 228 for five, Odisha lost their remaining five wickets while adding another 53 runs. Vice-captain Ranjit Singh hit a century and Gourav Mahapatra scored a half-century. Ambikeshwar Mishra was most successful Railway bowler, claiming five wickets for 45 runs.
