Bhubaneswar, Mar 5: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has exhorted civil servants to enforce the rule of law in an impartial manner.
Speaking at a seminar on public service delivery where successful Odisha Civil Services-2011 candidates were handed over appointment letters on Friday, Patnaik said the State government is taking up a number of developmental measures through various schemes.
“It is extremely necessary to see that the schemes are implemented efficiently with dedication so that the desired outcomes are received and the livelihoods of people improve”, he said.
The Chief Minister added that the State government has notified as many as 324 different services under the Odisha Rights to Public Service Delivery Act. “It is the duty of all government servants to take all possible measures to see that the citizens get their entitlements without any delay or harassment”, he said.
