CM inaugurated various projects and laid foundation stone for new projects in Koraput, Odisha

Jeypore, Dec 23: Yesterday, during his one day visit to Koraput, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated various projects. Patnaik, also laid foundation stones for 12 projects including a bridge over Kamta River, Mother and Children Centre and a new stadium at Ambaguda in Jeypore. In a public event there, he also informed about the welfare programmes that have been initiated by the government.  Later he arrived at Kotpada and laid foundation stones for 100 bedded boy’s hostel of Biju Patnaik College and Gupteswar High School each.

Chief Minister arrived the district on a helicopter. He was accompanied by former MLA and Minister Rabi Narayan Nanda, Jayaram Pangi, district BJD president and Pranab Prakash Das, Energy Minister and observer of Koraput.

Keeping in mind about the security during the visit of Chief Minister to Jeypore, 10 BJP workers along with 20 congress workers were detained by the police earlier yesterday.
