Counselling for engineering admissions in Odisha to begin from June 15

Bhubaneswar, June 2: After the announcement of OJEE results earlier this week, the state will now conduct the counselling for engineering admissions in Odisha beginning from June 15. The counselling this year will follow the new rules in line with the format followed by the IITs and NITs.

According to the new rules, the meritorious students of JEE Mains can register themselves on the OJEE’s websites and can also lock their choices, upon which they will allotted with temporary seats. After that they can take part in the counselling and pay their part admission fee of Rs 25,000.

This deposited fees will remain with the OJEE till the third phase admission process concludes. Once the third phase gets over, the results will be published, and the students can pay the rest fees to the college directly, in which they get enlisted.

As per the new rules, a student can withdraw from the admission process in between the three phase process or also can change college during the same time.
