Odisha Reports Over 10 K Covid-19 Cases In A Day
Odisha reported 10,059 new cases in 24 hours, taking the total tally to 11,01,606. Of 10,059 new cases, 872 are within 0-18 years of age. Also, As said by Health & Family Welfare Department, 5833 people were in quarantine and 4226 are local contact cases.
949 people have recovered from the disease yesterday and total recoveries reached 10,48,732.
Active Caseload stands at 44,349.
Khurda District reported highest cases (3188), which is 31.69 per cent of new cases reported today. Cuttack, Sundergarh, Mayurbhanj and Sambalpur District reported 870, 1348, 423 and 570 cases respectively.

Other districts which have registered more than 200 cases, are Balasore (278), Balangir (216), Jajpur (212), Jharsuguda (219), Jajpur (212) and Puri (272).
Also, 724 new cases have been detected from State Pool.
81,065 tests have been conducted in 24 hours and out of that, 10,059 cases are found to be positive.
Daily Positivity Rate increases to 12.40 percent.
